The Cogent team consists of industry insiders with extensive experience and seasoned business advisors. This balance between industry and consulting backgrounds ensures that our approach remains pragmatic, while also benefiting from the newest thinking in our functional areas of expertise.
Our team relies on individuals with a minimum of 15 years of experience in their respective fields as well as selected partner companies with best-in-class competencies in complementary areas. All of our partners have the flexibility to collaborate closely with the Cogent team and other network members to provide a seamless experience for our clients.
We do not employ a large staff of inexperienced junior associates. When you work with Cogent, the most senior members will be your sparring partner from start to finish.

Christian Neckermann
Christian Neckermann founded Cogent Consulting in 2005. His passion and primary reason for building Cogent Consulting is to provide senior executives with a more robust and objective foundation for strategic decisions – fostering discipline in decision-making and organizational accountability that drives better business outcomes.
Stefan Zillikens
A 20-year veteran in the pharmaceutical industry, Stefan brings first-hand experience managing all stages of a product lifecycle from early launch planning, through mature brand innovation, to Loss of Exclusivity Optimization (LOE). Based on his strong scientific background, Stefan is able to define the precise product positioning and target patient profile(s) that form the foundation for a successful product commercialization strategy.
Thomas Teyke
By combining an extended scientific career with profound expertise in management consulting, Thomas has delivered innovative solutions to numerous clients within the biotech, pharmaceutical, and device industry. Within these industries, Thomas has supported a range of clients - from start-ups to global, multinational companies - in long-range strategic planning, alignment of R&D strategy with corporate strategy, product and project portfolio optimization, as well as securing and improving market access.
